Foresto Story

Seokdong

I write about the people and feelings that remain with us long after time has passed.

Everyone has a season they can never quite forget. Someone may come to mind unexpectedly, even years later. And sometimes, feelings we could not understand at the time become clear only after we have lived through many more seasons.

These are the memories I write about.

You Came Between the Seasons began with memories of being twenty. It revisits the awkward encounters, unfamiliar emotions, and relationships that grew closer and drifted apart. It is an attempt to look back, slowly and honestly, at the feelings I could not fully express back then.

I do not want to remember past love as something beautiful alone. I want to write honestly about the excitement, the hesitation, the misunderstandings, and the moments when I failed to understand another person’s heart.

Not every memory fades with time. Some remain within us like seasons long gone, returning unexpectedly when we least expect them.

I believe that putting these memories into words is a way of understanding the years behind me—and meeting the person I once was.

Stories left behind in seasons gone by.
That is where Seokdong’s writing begins.
